How did "The Visionary Vault" come to be?
Our CEO and founder, Hailey LaRosa, grew up
as a military brat. Born in Hawaii, she moved
nine times before turning 19! For some, the idea
of living somewhere for just a few years may feel
overwhelming, but Hailey embraced it. While
being uprooted constantly posed challenges, she
saw every move as an opportunity to explore
new places and meet new people.
Before her dad retired from the military, her
family’s final move took them to Stuttgart,
Germany. Although Hailey had always been a
creative child, it was in Germany that she truly
began to pursue the arts. During her four years there, she explored photography, modeling, videography (of course, vlogging her adventures!), and was part of the A.P. Art program at school. She traveled to 29 countries during her high school years, and it was through this travel that Hailey discovered her love for art, culture, and people—values that continue to inspire "The Visionary Vault."
After graduating high school in 2021, Hailey joined her family in Spokane, Washington, where she earned her associate’s degree in Business from Spokane Community College and her bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Business Management from Washington State University. During this time, she honed in on her modeling and photography endeavors, attending local meet-ups and working with local companies such as The Great PNW.
One of the key figures in this creative community was Kat Vandergriff, founder of Philm Community, who hosted regular meet-ups. When Kat moved out of state in 2023, Hailey saw an opportunity to step in. She founded “Spokane Models and Cameras,” hosting stylized shoots and networking events. As her following grew, Hailey realized her vision for the group was evolving. She wanted to create a space that embraced the entire creative community, so “Spokane Models and Cameras” no longer felt like the right fit. In July 2024, she rebranded the group to “The Visionary Vault.”
Since its inception, “The Visionary Vault” has hosted networking events, a film festival, stylized photoshoots, and even an art exhibition/runway show featuring local artists, photographers, designers, and models. Hailey is passionate about seeing Spokane and Coeur d’Alene’s creative communities thrive, and she’s committed to fostering a welcoming environment for all. Join us on this journey—and become a Visionary!
